Understanding the Details and Creating a Plan
This is the first stage of our website design process. We start with a discovery and strategy call to learn about your products and services and what you would like to accomplish with your website. During this call we discuss your logo, color scheme, offers, and competitors. We also review your design preferences, your buyer personas and your sales process. Having this knowledge ensures your website has the functionality needed to communicate your personal message before we start the design phase.
Design
Once we have an idea of your goals and current content assets, we will create two responsive design comps that visually demonstrate the homepage, any interior pages and the blog layout. We also take into consideration your menu structure, social media icons, logo placement, calls-to-action, and videos. We work with your company to review the design comps, select a design and analyze the requested changes. Once the layout is approved, we can begin building the website.
Development
Now it’s time to apply code to your design comps and build the website to actually work online. Before we start development, we work with you to determine if your site should be built on the WordPress content management system (CMS) or the HubSpot COS. In addition to building your new website, we also test all of the elements such as the forms, photo galleries, social media etc. We code your website to be responsive so it displays correctly on all devices and browsers. Once the site has been developed, it is ready for content. Through the CMS, we enter the content that has been provided from you or we can assist in creating content for those who need it.
Launch
During this phase, your website will be launched and viewable to the public. Before it is time to take your website live, we review the site with you and make any final changes. Once everything has been approved and tested, we will train your internal staff on how to make changes related to text, content, images and other specific items required for your design. We handle the entire launch process for you, run one final quality assurance test and provide free online support for 30 days after your website goes live.
